Slouchy V-neck and Neutrals

I was surprised at how good I felt in this outfit today! I've been working on being healthy, and I am definitely seeing results already! I love these pieces together, and everything is really comfortable too. This is probably my favorite t-shirt. I just realized today how many times I've used this cardigan in my outfit posts..at least I am getting my money's worth out of it. It is so versatile.
I also put my hair loosely half up...I loved it. It doesn't look great here, but at times today it looked really nice.

College Makeup Collection and Affordable Storage

My makeup collection is not huge, nor is the storage glamorous, but it works! When I move into my apartment in August I plan on getting a nice mirror and the Alex 9 Drawers and more grown up makeup storage. But for now this will do :)
I store my makeup brushes in cups!
This first glass is my eye brushes. I have more, but I put away the ones I don't use often or don't like (from my old makeup brush set) Some in that set, I kept though. So this is a mix of MAC, Sigma, and Shany Cosmetics Brushes.
This cup is ugly, but it fits my face brushes decently well. It is a mix of my new Sigma brushes, Shany, a Real Techniques Blush Brush, and a knock-off MAC Hello Kitty brush (I thought it was real on ebay...silly me)
I love this desk organizer that I got from Target!! I was like 5 dollars, and it holds my palettes, my everyday use items, and my eyeliners, brow pencil, some mascaras, and my lip liners. Plus, room for more palettes ;)
I have the Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette, The three Urban Decay Naked Palettes, Lorac Pro Palette, and TheBalm's Nude' Tude Palette.
In my commonly used items section I have my Too Face Milk Chocolate Soliel Bronzer, my ELF bronzer and blush duo, my UD Naked Basics Palette, BH Cosmetics Concealer palette, BH Cosmetics brow kit, NYX Illuminator in Narcissistic, and Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Translucent

I got my drawers I use for makeup, in the storage section in Target! It does the job mostly. The drawers are pretty messy. I'll have to find containers to hold things nicer when I get the Alex 9.

Sorry these pictures are blurry! I can do a more detailed and nice makeup collection in the future. I just wanted to give a nice overview of how I store makeup in a dorm room.
This top drawer is filled with various face products. Lots of blushes, concealer, foundation, and powders.
This is my miscellaneous drawer! Samples, foil packets, masks, primers, other lip products, lashes, back-ups, etc.

This is so blurry :(
But it is my single eyeshadow and small palette drawer, I also have a few mascaras!
I have a lot of MAC, and many other brands( NARS,Mica, BH Cosmetics, Stila, NYX, Smashbox, Benefit, etc.)

On the top of my organizer I have my lippies!! and some other important products. I got this container really cheap on Ebay.com. I have various lipsticks and stains, my face lotion, lip exfoliator, balms, Primer, MAC Fix+, an ELF powder, and usually my Beauty Blender (I took it down so it wasn't blocking the lip products!)

Hair Improvements and OOTD

I'm not going to be one of those bloggers who never repeats an outfit, but I'm going to try and change some kind of element to something I have wore and put on here previously! I say that because I wore this sweater a few weeks ago. I like this outfit better though! :) I apologize for not posting every single day. It is the start of the semester, and I really need to spend as much time as I can preparing and studying. I am a Junior so I am really in the bulk of my serious and challenging classes. I may take a few days to post but then post like 2 or 3 new ones that day, or something along the lines of that. I appreciate your patience with me. I'm really proud of this blog, and I keep believe how far it has come since November 2013! Thank you, Thank you <3

If you've read some of my previous posts or saw my neglected hair in almost every picture, you would know I really don't try to hard with it. When I make an effort, it turns frizzy and wind blown (not in a cute way)! So I usually just shower at night, fix it by running a straightener through it a few times, and call it a day. Although I have still been doing this, I've been loving my hair a little bit more lately. A few weeks ago I got my hair done, I got highlights and a deep conditioning treatment. The treatment worked really well, after two showers my hair went mostly back to normal. When I got to school last week, I bought new shampoo and conditioner. I got a brand that I have been wanting to try for a long time now, and I LOVE IT! I got the Clear brand in the Total Care for conditioner, and the Complete Care for the shampoo. I will be honest and say most winters my eczema appears on my scalp and I have dandruff. It is super embarrassing, especially since I wear a lot of dark colors. I usually just tough it out and hope for it to go away. Last year, I got a medication from the doctor and it still did not go away! Well part of my issue with my lifeless hair and dandruff is probably due to the fact that I didn't put conditioner close to my roots...EVER. I thought that my hair would get oily quick. When I got this shampoo and conditioner I followed directions... I massaged that conditioner all of my hair, on my roots and all over my scalp! And guess what... NO OIL and my hair is SO much nicer!! I also ran out of my It's a 10 Leave-In over break, and didn't really want to repurchase for some reason. I started using a product I got earlier this year, after I shower I spray in my hair L' Oreal Total Repair 5 Multi-Restorative Dry Oil. This stuff works really well, and I think it is making my hair look shinier.

Both products are relatively cheap and can be bought at a drugstore! :)

Healthy Smoothie Recipe!

I'm starting a week later than most people, but I'm starting my healthy lifestyle back up! YAY! In the last couple of years my weight has fluctuated a lot. Lose l0 pounds, then gain it back, lose it, gain it back. It is really annoying and I am ready to shed what I want once and for all. We'll see how it works! :)
I love green smoothies, and yes they look gross but they are way sweeter than you think!

Ingredients-
Baby Spinach- I use about 2 handfuls
Strawberries (I use Dole Frozen Strawberries)- about a cup, maybe a tad more
Pineapple- I used those little plastic cups (Tidbits in 100% juice) in the juice, but I drained most of the juice
Unsweetened Almond Milk- 1 cup
Chia Seeds- I used 2 teaspoons, may use more next time
You can add Ice if you like
This was the first time I used Chia Seeds, I liked them, you hardly notice them. They do add a little texture, so if you don't like that maybe chew a little before you swallow. I think it is worth it, they are great for you!

I add all of these ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth and green (it takes a while for the spinach to chop up)

ENJOY!!
