I made the plunge, NARS ITA BRUSH!

I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the very popular contour brush, NARS Ita Kabuki Brush. This brush is used all over YouTube! The first time I used it I was so impressed! I definitely need some more practice with it though! I think it is worth the $55 dollars if contouring is something you really want to get into! It's been making me feel pretty lately! I love it :)

This was the first time I used it!

And this was the second!

And here it is!!! :D

February Favorites :)

This is my first time doing one of these, I'm excited! Well I have been using a lot of new products that I LOVE. Some of these I have been using for a few months, but they are relatively new.

My favorite foundation, maybe ever- Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous in 805 Ivory. This foundation has amazing coverage and still looks so natural. I will definitely be repurchasing this.

I use this e.l.f HD Powder to set my under-eye concealer, and it is so great! And you can't beat the price.

Of course, Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is a favorite! I use it almost everyday, and I love pretty much every color in the palette.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is incredible to contour with or just to warm up your face.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (NW20) is the best concealer I have ever used.

When I was in search of good highlight/contour products, I saw this product in Jaclyn Hill's 'How to Cream Contour' video, I knew I had to have it. It is so wonderful. It is bareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener in Luminous 2

I have two blushes, although I have been loving blushes in general lately, and they are Bobbi Brown blush in Tawny, and City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon. Both are so beautiful and pigmented.

This is a sample size, but I have been loving Benefit Stay Don't Stray eye primer so much. I may just have to buy the full size.

In the bottom right corner, we have my favorite highlighter lately, NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic

I have been loving so many of my brushes this month:
Sigma F80- Flat Topped Kabuki that I have been using to apply foundation
Sigma F86- Tapered Kabuki, I use this to apply my under-eye concealer and powder.
Sigma F40- Large Angled Contour, I use this to apply blush and sometimes a contour.
Sigma E55- Eye Shading brush. I use this to apply color to my lids.
Sigma E60- Large Shader, I love using this brush to apply my base color to my whole eye and for applying my brow bone color.
Urban Decay crease brush (That comes with the Naked 2 Palette) is my favorite brush to apply crease and outer-v. I try to use others, but I always come back to this one.

My favorite powder is Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Translucent

Oh Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz in Soft Brown, you do wonders for those horrible brows of mine!

A primer that I find myself reaching for almost everyday is e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer. I goes on so smooth, and I just really like it (and the price).

Two Hair/Face products that I love,
Pantene Pro-V BB Cream is awesome, and I have seen some improvements in my hair for sure!
Josie Maran Argan Oil- I use this product on my hair, and on my face when it is really in need of hydration.

Practicing Contouring! Full Face and Eye Makeup

I have been trying to contour for a few months now. It isn't turning out as nice as I would like, but it is improving! I watched Carli Bybel's Drugstore Contour and Highlight video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Wo564UVPNQ)
I bought the two concealer sticks that she used, and used them!
Products I used:
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation in Ivory (applied with a Beauty Blender)
CoverGirl- Fix Stick Concealer in Deep
Revlon- PhotoReady Concealer in Fair

This is after I blended all of the concealer. I used the Sigma F86 and the Beauty Blender to blend under my eyes and set it with powder (Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in Translucent) . Then I used the Beauty Blender and Sigma F80 to blend out everything else!

And the final product! :) I used Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer on the contour areas using the Sigma F40, I then put on blush for my Coastal Scents 10 Blush Palette (also using the Sigma F40)- I used the first blush on the top left. I applied my highlighter ( NYX Luminizer in Ritualistic) with the Sigma F35.

Brows:  BH Cosmetics Flawless Brow Trio in Medium (I used the middle powder)
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown

Eyes:
Urban Decay Basics Palette mixing WOS and Foxy and applying all over the eye with the Sigma E60
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette shade  Burnout on my lid using Sigma E55
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette shade Nooner to my crease and outer v with the Urban Decay Crease Brush.
In just the Outer v (the same crease brush) and as eyeliner (Sigma E30) I used Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette shade in Blackheart
For my inner corner I used Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette in Venus using the Sigma E30
Top Eyeliner- Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black  (Sigma E65)
Buxom- Buxom Lash Mascara
